Fun fact: Dr. Marengi has adventured across the entire country (from Seattle to DC) on his bike. When he’s not at the office helping patients reach their dental health goals, you can find him on his bike or in his converted garage, where he built a full-scale gym.
During his years at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Marengi met Dr. Baek, and the rest (as they say) is history. He graduated in 2011 and has since gained experience at multiple associateships.
Now that Dr. Marengi has his own practice with Dr. Baek, he’s proud to offer elevated, personalized dentistry in Woburn.

Joyce Baek, DMD, obtained her degrees from Johnson and Wales University and The Ohio State University and went on to receive her dental degree from Tufts University. Her postgraduate education includes occlusion (your bite), short-term orthodontics, and dental photography. Her professional memberships include the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Massachusetts Dental Society.
Drs. Marengi and Baek are a husband/wife team who enjoy spending time with their daughter, hiking in the summer, and skiing in the winter.
Charles R. Braga, DMD, MMSc, earned his master’s and dental degrees from Harvard University, after obtaining his bachelor’s degree from Boston University, all with the distinction of magna cum laude. He is a recipient of the American Academy of Periodontology’s Award for Excellence as well as the Quintessence Award for Excellence in Periodontology. In his spare time he enjoys travel, computing, politics, and home improvement.
Dr. Sorensen received her BA in psychology from UNC– Chapel Hill in 2011 and her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2016. She completed a one year postgraduate training program after dental school at St. Joseph hospital in Providence, earning her certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. During her postgraduate training she was able to gain extensive experience in all phases of dentistry.
She is affiliated with the American Dental Association ,the RI Dental Association and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. What Dr. Sorensen enjoys most about dentistry is that it is as much of an art as it is a science.
She enjoys talking to patients who have specific goals and needs making each case and each day unique. Working together with patients to achieve something that makes them happy is her ultimate goal.
